| One of Philadelphia's best known and well respected workers' compensation attorneys, Richard A. Jaffe has been representing injured workers and other disabled individuals for over 20 years. He concentrates his practice on Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Tulane Law School, he is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He started the firm in 1994, and since then has aggressively fought for the rights of the injured worker in hundreds of cases in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area. He is an active member of the Workers' Compensation Section of PaTLA, a Sustaining Member of NOSSCR and on the Board of Directors for the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group for 2005-2007. RICHARD A JAFFE, ESQ.
Richard graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and received his J.D. from the Tulane Law School in 1985. After working as an Associate for 8 years at a prominent center city Insurance Defense Law Firm in the Workers Compensation Department, he started this firm in 1994 to concentrate on only representing the injured workers and other disabled individuals. Having worked in a firm that represented insurance carriers, he is well versed in how the Defendants and Insurance Carriers handle their cases, and is able to use the knowledge to the advantage of his clients. Richard has over 20 years experience in handling Pennsylvania Workers Compensation and Social Security matters. He is also well versed in handling personal injury matters including arbitrations. He is an Active Member of the PA Trial Lawyers Association Workers Compensation Section, as well as a sustaining member of The National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives ( NOSSCR )and has served on the Board of Directors of the national Workers Compensation Organization, Workplace Injury Law&Advocacy Group ( wilg.org ) from 2005-2007. He is also a member of ATLA, the PA Bar Assc.,Philadelphia Bar Assc., and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Assc. Richard was also named a PA Super Lawyer as seen in the June 2006 Philadelphia Magazine.
